Description
The Pamposh Table is a set of three nesting accent tables, each top hand-carved into the layered silhouette of a blooming lotus. A circular brushed brass inlay sits at the centre of each petal arrangement, resting on slender tripod legs finished in a matching gold tone.
Each tabletop is carved from solid wood, with every petal shaped and sanded by hand before being finished in a rich walnut-brown stain. The brass centre inlays are set into the wood by hand, and the tripod legs are fabricated from brushed brass-finished metal for a light, jewellery-like base that contrasts with the sculpted top.
Equal parts furniture and object, the Pamposh set draws on lotus-flower motifs found across South and Southeast Asian design traditions, reworked here as a set of modern occasional tables. The three graduated heights are designed to be used together as a cluster or split up individually around a room.
Use the tallest as a side table beside a sofa or armchair, and the two lower tables as a nested coffee-table cluster or plant stands. Their light footprint and slender legs make them easy to move and rearrange as a room’s needs change.
Recommended for living rooms, reading corners, bedrooms as bedside accent pieces, and entryways.
Care: dust the wood petals with a soft, dry cloth and keep away from direct, prolonged sunlight to preserve the stain. Wipe the brass inlay with a dry cloth; avoid abrasive cleaners, which can dull its finish.
