Fabric can be customised according to the client’s preferences. Required fabric quantity will be advised once the selection is confirmed. Our team is available to support you throughout the coordination process for a smooth experience.
Each piece retains its original design integrity while allowing limited customisation in fabric, finish and material. Adjusted pricing will be shared based on the selected preferences.
Essence Furniture offers a One-Year Limited Warranty covering manufacturing defects in materials and workmanship for products purchased directly from our authorised studios. A valid purchase invoice is required for any warranty claim.
A manufacturing defect refers to a structural fault that significantly affects the intended residential use of the product, provided it has been correctly stored, handled, installed, and maintained.
Natural Material Characteristics
Our furniture is crafted using natural materials such as solid wood. As a result, natural variations including movement, minor cracks, checking, expansion, or contraction are inherent characteristics of timber and are not considered defects.
These natural occurrences are part of the authenticity of wood and cannot be fully controlled. Where applicable, such issues may be assessed for repair only, depending on feasibility. Replacement, return, or refund will not be provided for natural material behaviour.
What is Not Covered
The warranty does not cover:
- Damage caused by improper storage, handling, installation, maintenance, misuse, negligence, alterations, or accidental impact.
- Normal wear and tear, including ageing of upholstery, fabrics, or leather.
- Natural variations in colour, grain, texture, or wood pattern.
- Upholstery materials, fabrics, leathers, and decorative elements such as buttons on tufted designs.
- Labour costs, onsite services, transportation, or reassembly.
- Products used in commercial, hospitality, or non-residential environments.
Warranty Process
All warranty concerns must be reported within the warranty period and accompanied by proof of purchase. Upon assessment, Essence Furniture will provide repair solutions where applicable.
This warranty is strictly limited to repair services only and does not include replacement, return, or refund under any circumstances. Any repairs carried out do not extend the original warranty period, and the warranty is non-transferable.
Visible defects or order discrepancies must be reported within 7 days of delivery. Issues reported after this period will be considered accepted by the client.
At Essence Furniture, every piece is made to order with meticulous attention to materials, craftsmanship, and finish. For this reason, we do not accept returns or offer exchanges once an order has been confirmed and delivered.
In the rare case of a manufacturing defect, our One-Year Limited Warranty applies and provides repair-only support. Under this warranty, replacement, return, or refund is not offered under any circumstances.
Any visible concerns must be reported within 7 days of delivery.
Quality is embedded at every stage of our production process. A structured quality checklist is implemented across four key departments—wood selection, carpentry, polishing, and upholstery—each supervised by trained professionals who ensure strict adherence to defined material and workmanship standards.
Every product undergoes a comprehensive final inspection before dispatch. Only pieces that meet the approved parameters of our Quality Control Head are cleared for packaging and delivery.
Our packaging process is designed to protect product integrity while maintaining environmental responsibility. For outstation deliveries, cartons are used for chairs and smaller tables, while larger items are carefully wrapped in triple-layer corrugated protection and secured with stretch film to safeguard structure, joints, and surface finishes.
The packing team is trained to identify and reinforce high-risk areas in each product, ensuring maximum protection during transit and a safe, reliable delivery experience.
